Anyways if you do use the hotspot feature just make sure to monitor how much you use, otherwise you will be forced to pay more. Not sure if its the fact that its a BYOD that allowed the phone to continue using a hotspot despite being over the limit, but I do know that the hotspot features was disabled before they added this. Even though her plan is suppose to be unlimited she currently has no mobile data and can only text and make phone calls, and the only way she can get it back is to purchase/renew her plan. We went into the app usage on her phone and discovered that she had used 18gbs of data on a hotspot. Today her data stopped working and after a lot of trouble shooting and calling the unhelpful customer support we finally got the answer that the data was blocked for "unauthorized usage of a mobile hotspot". Unfortunitly she didn't think to monitor how much data she was using on the hotspot, expecting it to turn itself off when the limit was reached. She was thrilled when she found out she could use a mobile hotspot, and even if it was only for 10gb it was better than nothing.
